No cactus here. To far North, and to cold in the winter. We grow mostly Wheat. Most farms around here are 9 to 10 THOUSAND acres. We do have a large irrigated farm here that farms 185,000 acres of corn, wheat, beans, potatos, mint, etc..............Oh, and they also have 180,000 dairy cows!
Learn something new every day. Could probably fit most of the farms in Vermont acreage wise onto your farm. Do you work on it or actually own it. Sounds like you work there if you get a day off.

Oregon is a large state. Over 80,000 Sq Miles!
I live on 3,000 acres that is no longer a farm. This land is in CRP and the owners get payed $50/Acr to NOT farm it..........The land I live on is owned by long time family friends that live out of state, and we take care of it for them. We pay 0$ to live here. I own a company called Farm Service Co. We work on farm and logging equipment in the field and at their shops. I design and build specialized equipment for farms, logging companys, and 2 gold mines.
Wow, that is cool. Do you have many employees or just your self? They actually use bulldozers in the fields? Seems like a big tractor would be more efficient and less items to wear. But from your perspective though that is good for your business.
