How are things down your way Liz? I learned two things recently, a 73-79 hood and old mattress pull very well behind a truck on city streets. I also learned that chief Ferguson and the honorable judge Ellis do NOT have as good a sense of humor as I thought..........

Things here have been busy and cold!!!! Single digits for weeks on end and then weeks of freezing fog and rain!!! I wouldn't mind so much if the drive to work was a little shorter, but fighting the weather for almost 100 miles each way makes me tired and cranky!!! Just give me tons of snow!!! Ha! Ha!!!

Using a mattress for Hookey Bobbin??? I would have never figured it would work!!! Nick uses a drop-in bedliner!!! Maybe you guys should get together and put the mattress in the bedliner?!?! It would provide sides, so no one can fall out and padding for the bumpy spots!?!?!

Sounds about like things up here, this freezing fog gets old really fast. And the mattress was inside the old hood. It works pretty good except when you drive past the cops.....

Oh, I get it!!! Yeah, that would work pretty well, I imagine!!

Too bad the cops had no sense of humor about it!!! So, did they bust everybody? Or just you? And what did you get for your troubles? A ticket? Community service?? Or just a good butt chewing??

My boys have been eye-balling the hood on the 55 Fairlane for a sled. I don't think so.

After a lot of *** chewing they let us go, but we had to retire the hood and mattress setup. It could have been much worse I suppose..
