Dual 4" MBRP Cool duals

Just checked clearances and I think I'm ok.

Anyone have any spare tire location issues with this setup that I should know about before ordering?

Thanks

Naw, that's Bubbles.

He's part of a show that has cult like status up here in the great white north called, Trailer Park Boys.

I just feel like his character when it comes to this 7.3 diesel stuff, the quintessential hoser.

I know that Mike (Big Poppa) didn't have clearance issues with his. Me on the other hand... I installed Diamond Eye duals and the clearances are... shall we say... tight.

Hi Chase,

Yeah, I saw your earlier posts when i did a search. I think you also had to do some cutting, that's why I'm looking at the MBRP's.

I didn't have to cut anything that wasn't supposed to be cut in the first place, but boy getting that exhaust in there was a PITA. As I'm sure you read elsewhere, if I had to do it again I'd have spent the extra $ on the MBRP, plus it comes with tips which mine didn't.

Right...because of the short box.

How do you like the sound? Wish you'd gone single 5"?

Rick, the only issue i had with mine was how close the pipe AFTER the downpipe, it was so close to the trans cross member bolt, it rattled when idling. I had to undo all the clamps and downpipe and re-adjust. Just make sure you tighten everything down from the downpipe then work your way back and adjust as needed. This is a very nice exhaust and now MBRP makes a cheater pipe(straight pipe) for the duals if you wish. PM me and i'll tell you where i got them for about 200.00 less. Here,s a pic for install reference.

I would go with the 409 as well. I think all their SS systems come with tips. The Alum systems do not. Thats an extra 60 or so bucks extra...EACH!

Isn't there a problem with keeping the spare tire with a Dually dual exhaust application?
