Moving to Fairbanks

I'll be moving to Fort Wainwright in the summer and was just curious about what kind of problems I'm looking at with my 04 F250 4X4 6.0L PSD and the temps. And what kind of tires or traction devices do you guys run up there.

get oil pan heater, battery heaters, engine block heater and you should be fine.. also put powerservice in the tanks to prevent gelling, make sure you have good batterys.. might want to even put a trickle charger on them overnight. get a winterfront to block the cold from the radiator also. studded tires. and a set of chains for just incase.

Doesn't seem like I need anything that I wouldn't need for a gas burner. Thanks for the info. Look forward to move. See ya'll in August.

make sure you buy anything you need that is heavy and bring it up with you, shipping is a rip off here.
