truck turns off when making a turn....

I have a 1997 Ford F-150 4x4 automatic, the truck hardly ever gets to see the road. I have 2 other vechiles and this one usually only gets around 600 miles a year for the past 3 years, so yeah it hardly sees the pavement. I am going to start driving it again because it's a real shame to just let it sit . When I am driving and I make a turn the truck will turn off ,and most of the time I will just crank it and it will start back up. But sometimes it will just "click" click, and nothing. Any ideas ?

Nothing more than a wild guess but it sounds like you've got a wire that's getting pinched or shifting and grounding out.

Ignition switch wire? Pull the cover off the column and check.

Do you lose any or all electrical power?

check your battery terminals, does your battery move side to side, had the same problem on a f-250 battery shifted during sharp turns and grounded out stalling the truck, and it started right back up afterwards, eventually killed the battery

I replaced my DPFE when it was doing that. Solved that particular issue, and now I'm on to the next!
