The damn snow of course!

Finally!, good news from the "eastern front". thought we might have lost you, Don.

 

Clear skys, and sunshine!

 

I'd be quite happy if it stays like this for the rest of the winter. We're back to mid to high 40's during the day and mid 20's at night. Nice and sunny during the day. I got oil delivered last week, 58 gallons since May at $2.35 a gallon. About 1/2 what I got last year at this time.

Unfortunately, I know better. Last year we had roads and houses blocked up with snow in February. People up on the hill were stranded in their houses until someone got a state snow plow to come up and dig them out. Maybe we'll get lucky this year.

 

We're pretty much back to normal here. High 40's and sunshine during the day, and high 30's at night. Spring plowing should start in about 2 weeks.

I'm ready to become a "snowbird" and head south in the winter!
