Doug, I picked up last week a Samsung Series 5 46" 1080p LCD HDTV for the living room. It has a great picture and some nice features but my one complaint and after reading the reviews I really have to agree with them,,,, the sound quality is not the greatest. To solve that, I am just running the sound through the home theater all of the time and just turned the speakers in the tv off. My other one is a 37" LG that we got about a year ago and it is a 720 for the resolution.
I think that you will be happy with the Sony's.

 

Morning Neil, we're back to the cold temps again also

 

We had been in the cold stuff for a while and Thursday it was around 32* and Friday it got up to 45*, then the bottom fell out again. Looks like it may not be until the end of the week before temps get back into the upper 20's.

I surrender...... where is spring ??????

 

We might even get some white stuff starting Tuesday

One night this last week the weather peeps put this statistic up..... since Nov. 15, it had snow everyday except for 7 of them. At the same time, they stated that for that time of the winter, we average around 45" of snow. This year we had around 75". And people say that there is global warming.

Gotta shut her down and head out for awhile. Have fun at the G2G and be safe.
