Thanks guys. What I really like about the company that built this stove is that there are based in Britsh Columbia on the coast. So IMO they better be able to build a stove that works with all of the crap weather that they get there.
This stove allows me to have the back of it 6" and the sides 14" away from any combustable and that it pretty much in the middle of my house. It also helps that my house is an open plan design that I came up with and it makes it easier to heat.

Ahhh not quite. I buy log loads and cut and split them myself. So with that being out of the way, let's see how many times I handle the wood.
1. Cut the logs into 16" blocks and stack them........ 1
2. Move each block to the splitter and split........ 1
3. Take the split wood and toss into a pile..........1
4. Stack wood from pile ............. 1
5. Move wood from stacked row to porch........ 2 (from row to truck to porch)
6. From porch into house ..........1
7. From wood basket into stove ........ 1
8. Removal of ashes.

So it appears that I get the warmth benefits from burning wood 8 times.
