Well I finally got around to posting a few pics of my 59 panel "Lazeras". named because I saved him from the crusher. Have added one pic of the grandsons "driving" the 48 F-1 around as I was finishing up on the painting of the frame.

As I sit here bored,I look at your trucks and think of the time and $ I spent. As mine was in about the shape of your panel. But I would love to start a new project.Love those lake pipes on the panel, you are going to keep them?

No. they were pretty beat up when I first got the truck. the right one was haywired up to the frame. As you remember a few wks. back we were all talking about diff. names for parts, well very few younger folks around seem to know what lake pipes are.I got the bug late in life and bought 3 trucks within 2 years, but all are in need a lot of TLC

Yeah, but we've all gotta bug! And whether it starts late or not is not important. What's important is that it started and we are enjoying it!!!!!!!

You've got a really good start!

Happy New Year!

Thanks Julie. the 48 is down to the frame. both clips in, and all painted, working on the cab now, weather permitting, not been permitting lately. The 59 is in a holding pattern for now.
