Way to tell what lift I have????
When I bought my truck the guy said it had a 6" lift from Les Schwab. It looked like a 6" lift, so I trusted the guy.
When I looked at the receipt from Les Schwab it says I have an add leaf on the receipt. I do not have blocks int the back, or front, so it is all leaf springs.
I guess my question is I wonder if the lift was like a four inch lift and he got add leafs from Les Schwab to put it at a 6 inch lift.
Is there any way to tell if you have add a leafs?
Thanks,
Kyle

You can look at your spring pack, and see if there are any differences between leafs. Usually the ends have some rounding, or a certain shape. Usually they are a little different between manufactures. Not always the case. But thats a good way to start. Often they put a cheesey clamp to hold the leaf spring pack together also, since normally the one that should hold the pack together wouldnt be long enough for the added leaf. Just a couple of basics to look for.

Doesnt look like an add a leaf to me, unless it was the same brand spring. Even then, the spacing between the ends of the leaves looks pretty consistant. Usually with an add a leaf, its not that way. They are usually a generic length. So maybe the lift was from Les Schwab. Maybe the front is were the add a leaf is?
