Why are you getting rid of Red? You should keep her. She would make you an excellent work truck. It's also a good thing to have a realiable truck as backup.
I'd LOVE to keep Red. In fact, my four-year-old son is really, REALLY ticked off at me. But I just don't have the room to keep both trucks and my wife's van, and I'm not sure I'd want to pay the insurance for three vehicles.

They make glorifed tents for trucks. No way you can set one up and park Red and take the insurance off of her?
I just can't bring myself to let it sit, guys. I'd much rather someone have it who will use it. Heck, I feel bad enough that it sits as much as it does now because some days I just don't feel up to driving!
Y'all are really going to make me feel guilty by the time this is over with ...
I know one guy who have 2 cars that he really really love. one from early 70's or 80's Cadillac so he storage in his garage for 20 years. last year was get that out storage. Wow it still look good shape.
Then he have nice 2006 Ford marquie well it storage now in garage for 20 years.
So I thought you really love red truck so you can storage in garage on cement floor not gravel.
I'd keep it for a couple of weeks. Drive your new truck for a while. Then sell Red after you've gotten comfortable with the Nite. Might make it easier. Fewer regrets.
