Error Codes

I last visited on 12-17-08 to discuss possible injector replacement.
I was advised to get diagnostics done before putting out lots of dinero
for injectors, an IDM and possibly harness'. The local truck dealer got a code P0605 - PCM memory failure. I suspect another faulty CPS, because when it stalls the memory is lost and resets. The PCM was replaced this year but not re-programmed for the truck. The dealer suspects the chip (Bully Dog) may be contributing. Im not buying it. Is this perhaps a harness shorting out?
Thanks

Memory failure means either the PCM is not being power correctly or the prom is loosing power internally. I would have the deal program your calibration into the PCM and see if that has any effect. Then it would be time to visually run the wires and finally replace the PCM with a known good.
