I am planning on starting a frame off on a 76 longbed 4x4. I am curious to know how much paint will it take to cover the frame, axles, springs, etc. Anybody know? Thanks

 

It should take about 2 qts. I'd consider using Por15, that's what I'm using after I'm done sandblasting. It's a rust preventitive paint and dries very hard, resistant to cracks and chips. Great for rust protection.

Otherwise I'd probably use Eastwood's epoxy frame paint.
