I don't think an accurate count is possible as the line moves around a lot... it's like counting cattle during a stampede
Personally, I think it's more like herding cats!!

As to Keith, that truck is so dark it's almost Cajun. (Blackened Effie, eh?)

count me in the dark side, but just barely. I love the stock look but want the comfort and useability that some mods bing to the truck(in particular the 56)Mine will look stock outside but have an updated interior with all the goodies that make a truck fun to drive. Merry Christmas to all!!

Well, this was in 1968 and it just seems to keep getting darker and darker out.

after reading that thread... all your questions will be answered or you'll self-admit at a local rehab place and start a program

later & Merry Christmas
John
hey John,
It's kinda like AA in reverse. We have a 12 steps to the Darkside program. You know, it all starts so innocently. First you want better lights or tires, next it's brakes, then a cool stereo. And so it goes... Abandon all hope once the sheet metal work starts. Thy torch and thy plasma cutter they comfort me.... You get the point.

If your feelin' a bit guilty, just have a frosty and some cookies. Before you know it, everything will be OK...

Later Man...

Now, where did I put those cookies ???

Well I guess I'm a fence straddler! I have the best of both! 53 is ALL darkside except the sheet metal! Then I have a 51 that still has everything it drove off the showroom floor with!

<OHmmm, I like the idea of it. How about something like:</O
<O</O
1.) We admitted we were powerless over modification and that our trucks had become un-restorable to stock condition.<O</O
2.) We came to believe that a power plant greater than our stock unit could restore us to sanity.
3.) We made a decision to turn our will and our trucks over to the process of modifying, as we understood it.
4.) We made a searching and fearless inventory of the stock parts left in our trucks.
5.) We admitted to God, ourselves and another human being the exact nature of our modifications.
6.) We were entirely ready to remove what we didn’t need.
7.) We humbly set about removing the stock parts that didn’t fit our vision of the project.
8.) We made a list of our shortage of custom parts and became entirely ready to procure them all.
9.) We made direct modifications to stock parts wherever possible, except when to do so would prove unsafe or injurious to others.
10.) We continued to take inventory of stock parts and when we needed to modify, we promptly did so.
11.) We sought through prayer and meditation to improve our vision of what modifications could be made.
12.) Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps we sought to carry the message to other Darksiders and to practice these principles with all our vehicles.

My name is David and I am powerless over the Darkside Modifications.
