Lowering 1983 Flareside

Just wondering if anyone has had a experience with
the various lowering kits available and what you thought of them. I'd like to lower the truck 3" inches all the way around but I don't want to mess up the ride. Any recommendations?

Lowering 1983 Flareside

Ive had good luck with all companies except DJM (weak metal) their products tend to bend or warp. The ride will change a little but with a bigger truck it's more bearable
