2008 FTE Antique & Classic FORD Truck FINAL ELIMINATIONS!

the 2008 Antique & Classic Ford Truck Final Eliminations

Alright people! HERE THEY ALL ARE - the finalists for the 2008 Antique and Classic Truck Contest/Online Show here at Ford Truck Enthusiasts, and what an absolutely stunning group of trucks they are! This has been a tough show to vote on from start to finish, with so many fine machines - how do you choose? Yet here we are at the final showdown..

The poll is a single choice, anonymous, timed event that will hopefully close on or about midnight December 31, 2008.

That's right! ~NEW YEARS EVE!!!

It all depends on how close to midnight I can successfully post this thread. Once it's launched, we'll know for sure...
A few minutes one way or the other won't hurt anything.

CONGRATULATIONS are in order for all the guys who made it this far, also a TRUCKLOAD of thanks to everyone who participated in this event from start to finish! YOU MADE THE SHOW!!! All I did was manage the background stuff.

(It's amazing what you can do with simple knowlege and 'notepad')

SO NOW, if you are reading this: - THE POLL IS OPEN!

*The text below each picture is a link to the original post. Since they are single post links - if you look in the upper right of the window that opens, you will find a link to the whole thread of the original contest.

*Missed it by three minutes. Oh well darn...
So it closes at three minutes after midnight. I'd call that rare damage control and recovery!!!

PPS: THIS I can't resist

"YO! ADRIAN! I DID IT!!!!"

Yeah I know, bad twist...

FIRE ME!

~As I look up above here at all of those wonderful machines, I can find no sin in PRIDE. For they are all works of love and imagination, also proof that sticking to something has results.

I'm prolly the last one here tonight. I think ZZTOP said it best:

"Like a fine plate of bar-b-que. Bear down on the meat, and leave off of the potato salad..."

RATE this thread - it will help it be seen. There are very few ways we (just members) are allowed to advertise things like this so far...

G'night

That sucide door crew-cab COE is a killer got my attention.

Of course I remember the 35 Ford pickups, I kid you not those 35 Ford pickups would lay rubber for a half of a block with the the flathead V8. No HP but enough of toque to smoke the tires.

I wish I could add 200 rep points to Greywolf for putting all this together. Thank you for all that you do.

I got my vote in for my favorite even though they all look amazing.

One of the best selection of fine trucks I've ever seen, its hard to choose when everyone is a winner in my book.
Congrat's to all and a special thanks to Greywolf...

I can honestly only think of one or two other 'tricks' I could have tried to make it even nicer. But I'd have to take a long hard look at what can and can't be done with Vb code on the forums. Sometimes it's best to just go with what you know...

I figured the better it looked, the more people would be attracted, and therefore the more votes. ANYTHING we can do to spread the word is worth doing. But looking at the spread of votes, "TOUGH CALL" is an understatement. I have no idea how it will all turn out - I mean that sincerely!

*There IS room for more improvement. I'm studyin' that...
As for the entries themselves -they're absolutely "MIND BLOWING" aren't they?

Don't worry about it much - there is only so much room in a sig.
