Twas the night before Christmas, and it was quiet in the house,
Calista was asleep, with a binky in her mouth.
Mom was fast asleep and Dad was a Tootin away,
but they both were sawing logs in their sleep for the fireplace the next day.
The snow was settled nicely on the ground, and on Elvis it lay,
For Elvis was already anticipating climbing the mountains of Colorado they say.
The poor Escape was a shivering because it was cold,
and the f150 was supporting its new paint job, dark blue and bold.
The Diebold van was up to the test, because somebody put a sticker on the side
that said "We Wont Rest"
The older Ford in the back was snuggling up to the house hoping to get some heat,
but the honor of protecting Calista from the boogie man was hard to beat.
They all had dreamt warm Christmas thoughts, and of gifts they'd receive,
and of Grease Monkey Onsees to help them believe.
Morning would soon come and the house will be loud,
Cause its Calista's first Christmas, and the parents are very proud!

WEll she went to the doctor yesterday.. 10lbs 2 oz... exactly the weight she is supposed to be. She toots like her dad, and we are finding great humor in it. She smiles at Mommy and daddy sometimes, and yesterday when I would stick my tounge out at her she would do it back. She hasn't gotten her degree, but she is probably trying to decide on a major. Her legs are strong but no crawling yet.
Thomas a spark plug would be too hard, a piece of vaccuum line works prety good. Latest bedtime story was about building a trail welder in your rig :-) (Daddy Getting some ideas).
