Winter fuel / Noisy motor

I was wondering if the winter fuel is not as good as the summer. My 7.3 has been noticeably noisier idling and during accleration. I keep it pluged in for all starts so it is not exteremly cold, and I always let it warm up before I drive it. If thats just the way the winter fuel is, is there a addative I can put in it to make it run a little smoother?

Haven't tried "The White Bottle" yet, but if it does help with the winter diesel I might give it a go. I use Diesel Kleen the rest of the year.

Also your exhaust backpressure valve will make them run a little noisier when they're warming up.

Normal- Yep, I hear the injectors way more clicking away in the winter... Summer time sometimes it just purrs. I have used Howes, Diesel clean, Fords own Powerstroke additive, and a handful of others. They all seem to work great for me. I have a discount on the Ford stuff though, so thats what I run.

Anti gel with lubrication additive since ULSD has lower lubricity compared to LSD. I use howes meaner power cleaner for more power, and howes diesel treat for anti gel. Both are at the fuel co ops so I just buy them.
