Hi I have the F250 4x4 5.4 gas with a 5 speed manual. Can any one tell me the best programer for it. The best for mpg & HP thanks.

 

Don't count on mileage. Programmers are primarily intended for power. The best you'll get is custom tuning on a dyno, if that's your goal, but you didn't say if cost was a factor or not.

Where do you live? Dyno tuning is well worth it, gains are usually much better, mileage is better and driveability, depending on who does the tuning. It can run $75 to hundreds of dollars depending on what needs to be done.

For custom tuning, SCT custom tuning and PHP Gryphons are the most popular options.

Frankly though, unless you've done a lot of mods, you can probably get away with mail order custom tuning provided that you follow the data logging instructions the dealer gives you.

Diablo doesn't have many custom tuning shops these days, seems most tuners have gravitated towards SCT.

What add-ons have you gotten for your truck, if any?
