Fuel capsities

I have a 96 PSD two tanks and I never realy knew how much fuel was in the front tank and the rear, now that is if there realy empty all the way.

My GUESS is the Front = 12 & Rear = 16 is this correct?
Any real amounts out there.

Thank you Don

All the spec sheets i've seen call for 19 gallons front and rear, however, i've only been able to get 16 in the front and 15 in the rear(at best).

there is a plastic pickup at the bottom of the tube that gets brittle and breaks.....thats why your lower capacity...I can get 13 gallons in my rear when I run it dry.I have not fixed it yet because a bronco tank will be going in soon

Jose you got half of it right.

all trucks have 18.2 gallon rear tanks

crew cab and super cabs with short beds hold 16.5 in the front

crew cabs and supercabs with long beds hold 19.5 in the front

regular cab 4x4 have 22 gallon front tanks

regular cab 2x4 have 19 gallon front tanks

Now I don't know either. In both the list I posted here and in the one you posted in the thred Jim linked to the SC SB shows 16.5 for the front and Jims chart shows 19 for both long and short bed SC's

How much have you put in your front?

All I know for sure is that mine holds 22.
