Same problem over here in Houston area, most schools are mandated to remove the fryers by the first of next year. Some high schools will have a small amount, but not much.

It's getting tight over here. I was even willing to purchase the oil from one of the larger collectors, but they're wanting $1.50/gal for raw, non-filtered WVO !!

Methanol has come down, so my production cost is running around $1.05/gal with free oil. Dino diesel is going for about $2.50/gal around here, so if I purchase oil I don't want to pay much for it.

yep. Griffin wants $3 /gallon for the WVO but you have to buy a full load at a time (22k gallons???).

I really want to keep making bio but time has been short these days and with diesel being ~$2.50, I think I am just going to stock wvo for a while. I'll make what I can with this last barrel of methanol, and then wait it out.

It was only a matter of time before this happened, so it really isn't a surprise.

The oil algae technology seems more and more promising every day, hopefully we can buy personal production kits one day...
