If you still have a fuel problem you might want to drop your fuel tank and clean the pickup towers in the tank. I had that problem twice as I never did the mod that eliminates them.
My symptom was lose of power and it would die, the first thing you think of is fuel filter and then you think gelled fuel.
Here is a picture of the little things. One has been somewhat cleaned and the other is dirty. To clean these use some kind of fuel conditioner in a cup that seems to work good.

OK Somethings fishy................
I have 3 pieces after I take the nut off.
The nut ,round barrel looking thing and a gold piece that goes on the end of the barrel.
One end of the barrel thing is metal and the other end is black plastic.
Does the plastic end or the metal end go in first when putting it back together?
After its together properley do the wires point towards the back of the truck or towards the front of the truck?

Try unplugging the ICP and see if that will allow it to crank.

Yep, that's the ICP. I think he next step would be to change out or maybe try to remove and rebuild the ICP. I tried the rebuild but didn't work for me. Wound up replacing it. When mine failed, the only way I could start mine was to hold the pedal to the floor while cranking. Don't know what it did, but it would start. Still ran like crap but started.

My internets been down because of the storm.
Ive got 2 codes P1280
P1212
Does anyone know what that means?
I had a young guy with a scanner give me them but thats all he knew!
It seems to have developed another problem also it wont turn over.
I had that problem once before and it started working again.
It just clicks when you try to start it.
I think its the adjustment on the saftey switch?
ANy way to unhook it?

*** UPDATE****
The nut was off the (ICP?) and it was sitting loose on there.
The mechanic took it right off and is now not sure how it goes back on?
He put it back how he thought it should go but the truck still doesnt start?
I saw a picture somewhere on here how it went ?
Ive looked for the picture and cant find it,
Anyone know how this thing goes back on?
That piece from Ford is $500+ ?

Either that, or if necessary just rebuild yours. New Page 0
Try holding the pedal down while cranking, just for my satisfaction. Like I said, it was the only way I could start mine. Something about the PCM demanding more oil pressure and fooling the IPR..
And to answer you question, with all you've been through, the IPR would be MY next choice and maybe the ICP as well.

Something to do while you wait for UPS. The gold barrel thing is a solenoid, i.e. a coil of wire. Typically solenoids go bad by shorting out. Ohm that puppy. If it is open, then it is shot. As for the positioning, the positon that counts is how far up or down the shaft the solenoid is, rotation position won't matter. The IPR is acutally a servo valve of sorts, not a sensor. Crazy theory - nut falls off, solenoid slides off, computer demands max pwr to solenoid to no affect. Burns out solenoid as it no longer has a heat sink when detached....?
Also, the truck will start up just fine with the ICP unplugged, there is a deafult pressure table on the computer for just such a failure. The truck can be driven safely with the ICP unplugged.
Hope it works out soon for you.

Well after waiting almost a month for my IPR I put it on , and the truck still wont start.
New CPS.
New IPR.
Unplugged the ICP.
Checked oil in HPOP and engine both are fine.
Have had the battery charger on and the truck is in a warm shop.
Lots of fuel coming out of the fuel bowl when I open up the bleeder.
What next?
What fuses or relays could it be?
Im going to reread this whole thread and see if Ive missed something.
