Welcome bigearl1369 to the chapter!

You may have seen Earl around before - his truck took 3rd in one of Wolfies FTE photo contests.
He's been a member of the NorCal chapter for a while, but he's moving down here to Riverside.

Glad to have you, Earl - tell us a little about yourself and that truck of yours.

Well as you all know my name is Earl originally from San Diego moved to Sacramento 6 years ago for my wifes job now moving to riverside for work for myself. built my lil 1979 f-100 this past year i paid $500.00 for her she was totally stock. I lowered it 6" in front 4" in rear would like to go 6" in rear also but need to C-knotch the frame and put the rearend on top of the leaf springs. anway it has a 1988 5.0 H.O. motor in her with a carb for now and a C-6 tranny thinking about one day if i can find a wrecked mustang with the 4.6 mod motor putting the entire running gear in her tranny computer motor the works. here are some pics of my truck now. If you go to my gallery you can see the build and paint work.

i still have the stock motor in my garage

Sweeeeet!

That's a classy lookin' '69!

That original motor an in-line six or a 302? Scrap the 302 if that's what you've got. The six-banger is a good workhorse.

The HO is a great motor. Just wish there were a cheap way to convert a 302 to an HO. :-))

Welcome to the Southern California Chapter

Which I call the Super Duty Chapter, because it seems almost everyone has one.

That's a nice looking 1979 you have. If you need anything for it, just ask. I have lots of resources for obsolete parts
