I am new to this forum so I hope this works right. I recently bought a 65 ford 100 with a 75 "460" in it. The wiring under the hood has been fried (assuming they hooked the ignition system up wrong) so I need to rewire the truck. Should I look at getting wiring for the 65 truck or for the 75 motor, either way there will have to be some mods.

Depending how bad the harness is toasted i would just rewire the entire truck with modern wiring and fuse block. You can get a good quality 21 circut for around 160 now from some vendors.

DITTO,the amount of time to try and piece together an old harness,you could replace it cheaper and would be alot safer,I find them from time to time from EZ wiring for low hundred range,we've picked them up for as low as $119 before,just shop around online and you will be surprised.I and probably others here would walk you through the install,just let us know.
