Oh yeah I forgot to say that I got a new ride. A 80 VW rabbit diesel pickup. Its got the 1.6 turbo. Its got a whole breath taking 75HP. We need stuff to work on in class and this VW is going to be fun to tinker on in class.

By looks of it right now its going to be tough to get back out to Murdo in the morning. I need to be in Rapid City by Sunday night for my flight on Monday. I hope the weather won't affect you guys to much

Seems to be a repeat of last weekend, snow, wind, and dang cold!!!!! Got to go help a buddy weld in a trunk floor on a '58 brand X car.... Hey, it's worth a steak dinner!!!! I can be bought, ya know!!!!!

This morning it's so dang cold that when I let the dog out, he had to pee on the run so he didn't freeze to the ground!!!!!!!!

Yeah saturday was pretty cold and so have the last couple of days. My pickup is broke down dew to the cold weather. My fuel line must of got so cold and popped out of the coupling. Thats what I'm assuming it is. Well I hate to rub it in but i got less than 3 hrs till I'm in 65+ degree weather.

 

The wind finally quit blowing here, makes -15 feel so much warmer, NOT!

On the bright side, we are supposed to warm up close to 30 by Christmas, it'll feel like a heat wave...

Hey Frankie, send some of the warm air up this way when you get there!

Nothing exciting for us, just sticking close to home since we traveled at Thanksgiving. How about you Ryan?

Work today and tomorrow. Doing the soup and present thing tonight. I am cooking. Tomorrow having 7 people over for lunch. Prime rib baked potato, glazed carrots and a dinner roll.

This weekend heading out the the hill for family celebration this Sunday.

Ok, Christmas is over!!!! Everybody back to the shop and get to work on them trucks!!!!!

Already 25 degrees today, made 3 trips to the dumpster already with all the wrappings and empty boxes from my grandaughters Christmas presents!!!! Girlfriend is at the nursing home to sing carols and spend some time with the residents there--some of them seem to be forgotten, even at Christmas. My son, his significant other, and my grandaughter are all napping so I'm going to slip out to the garage for a little piece and quiet!!!! Done with get-togethers til Saturday, the big one at my Sister's place. Santa didn't bring me my new World Products aluminum block nor my AFR heads for the Bronco so I'd better get a couple projects done and ready to sell...... Probably gonna have to buy all my own parts as usual!!!!!!
