Not a bad day here today. Mild with no rain or snow. Stuck my tuner on the #5 setting for a minute yesterday. Holy.............batman. Good way to get rid of my rear tires. Scary scary setting.

you shouldn't turn it up that high. you may have to rotate the tires after that! lol!
my ranger will do that without a tuner. of course i'm not for broiling the tires either! however it will do it.lol!! just kidding.
and your hub caps come out nicely in the dishwasher. just catch it before the plate warmer otherwise they will melt. just use castrol super clean instead of eletrasol.lol!

Yes a dishwasher is a wonderful thing and if the wife doesn't know what goes through it then no harm done.

That tuner probably wont see 5 very often but oh what an option. Just save it for when I get some cocky fellow beside me. Then showtime.

 

What tuner are you running Zip. Some of them eat tranies and blow head gaskets.

 

I got an edge with attitude. I got it more for the display than anything I guess. It will sit on the mileage tune for the majority of it's life most likely. I will probably try the tow tune when pulling the 5th wheel. This wasn't really the system I wanted but the price was right. At least I can use it to decide if I really want/need one. I can sell it for more than I bought it for so I don't really have to worry about that.

I have read about some of the issues they cause so I have a healthy respect/fear as to what they can do and what harm they can cause.

My truck is dead stock other than injectors from an 05. The engine was also replaced in 05 under warranty.

I see you have an Sct. That is a popular system is it not? How do you like it?

 

The Sct with custom tunes and the injectors is a world away from stock.If you get up into my neck of the woods (Stewart)your welcome to take it for a spin. Keep that tuner set low,bad things can happen when you push a stock 6.0L. Soon as Spartan gets the new tuners out I'll give you a sweet deal on the X3 I have if you want it.
