clutch fork proper install?
Is the clutch fork supposed to pivot off the trunnion nubs, or does it just rest on them and only the anti-rattle spring goes in the holes on the fork? The trunnion is inside the bellhousing and looks to be in good shape as does the fork.
I put the fork in a vice and closed the distance between the upper and lower wall a bit and now the spring stays in nice, but the fork still does not rest and pivot on the trunnion numbs. When I pulled this all apart everything fell out, so I did not see how it was all in there originally.
I don't really have much history on this truck, but there are clues that there are many donor pieces on it, so this may just be an issue of the wrong parts.
