Possibly fuel pump or loose clamp on one of the fuel hoses. Take a flashlight and a small mirror and check weep hole on bottom of fuel pump. When they leak it fills the valley with fuel and it runs down the back of engine and runs down bellhousing.

You will need to really clean and mop the valley with paper towels. Get it as dry as possible. Then with a good swivel mirror and a bright flashlight start the engine and start looking for the leak. The weep hole on the back, bottom if the fuel pump is always a good start.

Leaking fluids that get into the valley travel towards the rear and exit through a drain hole on the passenger side of the valley.

When you locate the leak come on back and we'll tell ya how to correct it.

Happy hunting.

FYI, after you get it dry, and I mean DRY, you can throw in a little baby powder in the valley to see where it starts from. You prolly lost the fuel pump. It runs about 75 bucks or so, and take about an hour to put it in. DO NOT TAKE IT TO A SHOPP TO HAVE THIS DONE. They charge you to take turbo off etc... and turbo stays on the truck. We will walk you thru it step by step, no worries. Plenty of guys like me and others have changed out more than a dozen of these, some more than 50.

The filter doesn't go on the fuel system, it goes on the air intake.
