Yea! I really don't care if my windshield says FORD on it.
The Ford glass is from the same manufacturer as the factory gets. The non-logo glass is foreign made glass. Check the foreign glass for wavy arees when looking through it since quality control is sometimes lacking. Sometimes the foreign glass is thinner, but it still has to meet federal specs for rollover protection (yes, the strength of the glass is actually figured in when calculating the loads even though after the first roll it has no more strength).
even the ford logo glass is made in mexico as for others there is plenty to choose from with china,canada and this great country still produces a lot of glass with the glass all having to meet many different FMVSS standards the big variable is installers and how they go about meeting the acceptable standards for installing the glass and meeting the above mentioned FMVSS. check out the shops and take time to have your questions answered get some referrals from ins agent and others in the biz to know who does it right find out about safe drive time and warrenty info any certifications the shop and installers have
