I seen on the posting some have said they recieved letters quit some time ago.To this date I have not. Should there be notification to all owners.

 

it is on hold right now, issue with the software. it is a reflash for the PCM.

 

Did I miss something or did you mean 08B06 and 08B07? 08B06 is the Venturi "T" install for the cooling system and 08B07 is a PCM reflash. The reflash is currently on hold as a software issue is giving some trucks a not start problem after the reflash. It is actually erasing the transmission computer info and has to be replaced to repair it.

 

My Bad yes did mean 08B06 also . I thought even if they put the flash on hold they still would of notified me of the venturi tee by now.

 

 

Mine is a Job 1 built 4/07 thats why I thought I should of received something by now,

 

Ford sends the letters out in waves so there isn't 2 million people calling at the same time. It can sometimes take up to 3 months for all the letters to be sent out. If you ever had a radiator replaced you may not get the recall because the dealer was supposed to install the "T" when it was replaced.
