Leak at bottom of water pump

Bottom hose to radiator is leaking at the base of the water pump.
I don't remember if there is a gasket up there or not.
I replaced the hose in the summer, and now it's leaking.
It looks in the darkness like there is some type of joint there.
So is it all one piece up there or is there a gasket, sleeve, etc?

Too dark and cold to clean it all up tonight and look, maybe get parts in the morning if needed then let it warm up outside a bit.

I'd say it time to do a good water pump inspection. There is a weep hole that generally leaks first... and can look like a hose leak.

Wink

A leaking hose is one thing, but since you recently replaced it I doubt its leaking.
You MAY have a leak at the elbow where the pipe is attached to the bottom of the pump-there IS a gasket/"O" ring in there, BUT I'm afraid that by the way you describe your leak that its the seal on the pump itself....if you need a new pump do yourself a favor and get a BRAND NEW AIRTEX pump from Northern Auto Parts on Ebay-don't waste all the time it takes to replace the pump with a cheap rebuilt one.
