Well guys and gals. It took alot of thought, and fighting a lot of denial to get to this decision. But Im parting out the truck. Its just gonna take way to much to get it to the point where I want it to be. Im going to continue to build the motor and find a late 70's early 80's truck to put it in. But with the way PA laws are, once I do get this truck done, I wont even be able to legally drive it. I had a lot of guys help me out building this truck and I appreciate all of it. Both parts, and information. Im going to pass it on and part this truck out to help someone else. As for the information, Ill help people with that as long as I still got it in my head.

don, the body isnt the issue. the laws pertaining to the age of the vehicle are the issue. the motor is going to be a stoutly built 393w carb'd.

Brad, yes they will work. I think I have enough spare center caps, that you would have a complete set for the 2wd. the 4wd center caps on the front have a hole in them for the hub. the 2wd's dont?

Thank you 393STROKER. I won't be losing heart trust me. I bleed blue through and through. Like I said, Im still building the motor. Im just going to find a late 70's, early 80's truck to build that came factory carb'd so I can get the truck inspected, so i can actually drive it, show it off, and enjoy it

i thought in some states that were emission nazies after a certain age the vehicle became exempt and no longer was required to be tested if special tags/stickers were issued to it...

In California, anything after 1976 still has to pass emissions testing.

This is true. My truck isnt old enough yet. and I dont wanna have to wait around a couple years after building it so i can drive it.

I got the exhaust at advanced auto. its just a universal dual exhaust kit
