245/75/16 tires on dually?
Having trouble finding a 215/85/16 Load Range E mud tire which is the factory spec for my '93 F350 DRW. I don't want raise my gear ratio with 235/85's. There are plenty in the 245/75/16 size but all the dealers caution me they might rub together under load. Looking at wheel offset and tire width it would be close. Anybody have experience with this size in any specific make of tire or know of any 215's with an off-road block tread and Load Range E?

That would be a extremely bad choice of tires. 245's will rub together in the rear causing extreme heat build up and eventually a terrible blowout. Stay safe, go 215's.
I would recommend Michelins in a Load Range "E", or a Bridgestone.
If you don't haul much then back off to a LR "D". That will not be
a problem as long as you don't do some extreme hauling(gooseneck)
Tons of people upgrade to a 235 and are completely happy. Ask around and I am sure you can get enough feedback to make a sound buying decision. Good Luck.
