ksmith, I hate to do this to my F6 service thruck, but my son is putting together from
local junk yard from a late 4x4 a carb, 302 OD automatic with tranfer case. He will
not use a front driveshaft, thats only to have a low hole and we will keep the 2sp
rear end. So I will have 4 speed overdrive and a low range. Poor flathead has been
so faithfull all those years. It will be painted and ill make a stand for it put it in the
corner on casters like a head stone.

Its not a big deal call yourself what ever you want. Just stay active in our forums. Your work is incredible.

Big Job as long as you are making it a monument to all flatheads it will be alright. I have another 226 waiting for my next project. Making very good stides on this one. If I can get the cab back from the sandblasters, I will be moving right along!

48fordcoe,

No problem, just curious. I looked in your gallery and saw the COEs and hoped someone wasn't trying to steal credit for you work. Now that you mentioned it, I think I remembered something about you changing your name.

Did you buy the line truck?

Wouldn't it be great if it went this fast in real life? I'd have a barn full of fully restored trucks instead of "projects in waiting". Seeing this, though, does give motivation.
