BW1356 VS BW 4406 in 1997 F-150

I have a buddy with a 97 F-150 with an automtic tranny and manual shift BW4406. The existing 4406 transfer case is shot and I have a 1994 circa BW1356 which is also for an auto tranny. Anyone see any problems in swapping out the 4406 for the 1356?
