Went to look at fenders bought another F100 (sorta)

I recently found a 59 short bed listed on Craigslist. I spoke with the seller he told me the truck was solid but inpieces. Since I was really only looking for doors I figured I would be buying this thing for a few parts and scrapping the rest. Well I went out there today. This thing is in excellent shape. Since my doors on my 58 arent to to bad I figure Im gonna keep this 59 and put it back together. The only thing I dont have is the frame and rear axle. No big deal on the rear axle but what can I use for a late model frame? If I go that route. Anyone in the New England area with a 57-60 short wheel base frame they wanna get rid of? Also the truck came with 2 hoods. If anyone needs a 59 hood in good shape. Your welcome to come and get it.

Cheers
Matt

Sounds like a perfect candidate to mount on a newer frame with all the best engine, brakes and suspension. Would a Ranger 4X4 chassis fit under your sheet metal?
