Wow, I wouldn't name the Silverado the winner. It couldn't even make it up a wet hill on GM's own proving ground . It's more like the WHINER. You should see all the Loyal GM fans cry on Pickuptruck.com.

They could care less how fast it goes from 0 to 60. What they want is a capable truck that gets decent fuel economy with a reasonable price tag.
So 0-60 with a loaded trailor isn't indictative to what a truck should or can do? What about braking? Just because there is a 0-60 test doesn't automatically mean it's purpose is for "racing".

The thing is aspects such as a decent ride is basically decided by the individual. Some may like the ride, some may not. As for fuel mileage, it could be debated how many contractors buy based on fuel mileage compared to power and functionality ( ie, cab room, tailgate steps, comfort ) And the F150 hardly ran away with the mileage test. Handling? Well, I guess if those contractors want to go run a slalom course on their days off......nobody drives a truck to corner on a dime or run a slalom course. ( gee that statement sounds somewhat like the 0-60 times now doesn't it?)
