Too bad you can't get on Schofiled's East Range or up in Kahuku. Although you might be able to go somewhere in Kahuku.
I use to love mudding my (the Army's actually) HMMWV in those two places. I use to take an "extended" lunch on days after lots of rain and go to East Range and play.
When the Superferry starts coming to the Big Island come over and I'll take you down Waipio Valley and some upland trails here.
