Need a Effie Lovin Pocket Protector Wearin Electronic Geek

My freind Charlie said a modern automotive type relay should work in place of the expensive overdrive relay needed for my overdrive transmission. Are any of you guys able to cross reference to modern relays? They are available and cheap but specific to references that I don't understand.
Thank you
Bob

Oh Bob!

The type isn't cooled down on the last discussion we had about these relays. AND I JUST NOTICED IT WAS YOUR THREAD!!!! YOU SILLY BOY!

I have an idea: have your friend Charlie come up with one (the darn rabble rouser).

Ross posted a set up with a series of relays on this that could "theoretically be used" (or perhaps has successfully been used, but other than that, I know of no "out of body" substitute. Napa no gots....C&G = $160 Heres the link:

I'm sure if there was one, it wouldn't be such a well kept secret!
