Any members within 100 miles of YOUNGSTOWN?
I want to know if any members are within the Mahoning/Trumbull/Columbiana/Ashtabula counties and want to get together.
I wonder if there is a chapter for these guys? I know of a guy in Ashtabula who has 56 f100s and heard he was a member--but have not met him. Stopped at his home and wife said he was a member.....Bill

Hi Bigwin---You need to find someone to watch that Hemi-lover!! And I mean that it a good way-LOL
Did you see pics of the place Boley/Ksmith and I are going to?
He has near 1500 panels/trucks mostly ford.
I saw at least 5 56panels. I still want a 56panel that is unmolested like yours.
Why don't you repaint and drive your panel? I would strip the black with a razor-knife and have done a couple vehicles this way---and hardly even touched the original paint.
In fact -I just did the inner fenders of the avanti--they were black and I scraped the black off--and now they are turquoise.
It takes patience and new razor-blades---but is cheap and you can do it with your kids....if they are careful/ Maybe a bad idea!! haha
I decided to install the 272 with 4 speed from the 56f600 I scrapped out.
The 64 yblock has that weird harm balancer and I will use that carb and intake. I just jockeyed 3 of my trucks in the barn and still have room to build the 56. The 53 is at my buddies getting brakes rebuilt and soon will be home. Are you still doing the bee business? Is Andrew done with school--or did he get a job wrenchin'?
Anyway--I still am looking for a driveshaft (272/4speed) and running boards and rear fenders-in case you have some. I see your ebay shroud is selling well. Bill----thanks

I razor bladed a 58 corvette with about 5 layers of every color under the sun when I was a youngin, I think I was 12 yrs old and it was my brother vette. I actually like to drive the panel the way it is. I love the fact that I dont need to baby sit it.
That shroud should go for 75 or more I hope.

deeznuts822---I used to live there also. What truck do you have or drive/ Have you ever been to Final Faze detail shop? Bill
Bigwin---I have some shrouds also--and did not know they were worth that? I figure if you scrape the black off the panel--it would show-better and then you could say--original paint!! The black was peeling alot when I saw it---and hope to own 1 soon. Bill
