How to remove fuel bowl guts?

I have noticed that the bowl drain valve is not at the lowest poin in the bowl so when you drain it it still holds the goo and sludge.

My goofy brain at work...
I wonder if you can fill the bottom of the bowl with enoughJB weld so that when you open the drain all of the fuel comes out.
Not sure but it may interfere with the oil in fuel light.

Just a thought. Whaddya guys think. Am I crazy or what?

I havent notice that, but if so, sounds logic for me, and IDK about the WATER in fuel light

But are you sure that if you filled that area, would the filter still go as far down into the bowl as it needed to so that you could screw the cap down?

Good question, but till I know the filter doesnt go down to much, its lowest part is at least for above of the level of the heather element.
