No problem...just keep spreading the forum love around and you'll be able to rep someone back again...just be generous...give some...get some...

Everyone starts out with ONE green square. Once you acquire 100 rep points you will get your second. At 200 rep points you will get your third and so on...so for each 100 rep points you get a square...

I can't even spread any Rep Points till after 10:30 P.M EST due to the time I first started spreading the points.

The way I spread mine is I start with the last 9 that gave me points and work down.
Then if I have to spread more Rep Points before I can hit them I go and add a new name on my list and etc.

Also if I find an exceptional post I will Rep it 1st.

I always pay back points that are given me.

Been doing it for days now. When will it end NOBODY KNOWS, but for sure we at the EXCURSION fourm will soon be a force to be reckoned with.

Another thing; what determines how many points is given for each rep?

 

I believe a number of factors goes into that...

The number of posts someone has as well as how many rep squares they have I 'think' factors into how many the GIVE.

Users UNDER 25 posts can rep...but no points are given to the person they rep'd...so if someone is close to 25 posts...wait until you have 25 posts so the person you rep gets a point.

Also remember...MAKE A COMMENT when you give rep points...it can make the difference in the number of points given.

I'm not sure what the complete algorithm is on how many points are given by whom...I do know that some users certainly GIVE more points than others for a rep.

I just gave out a bunch tonight...can anyone determine how many points my rep was for?

Nick just repped me and it only went from 50 to 51. I can not really make out any sort of pattern.

 

I got 2 points from Nick as well...not seeing a real good pattern here...hehe...
