thinking of getting an 08 please help advise

I currently own a 07 psd 6.0. I am looking at a 08 expy loaded to the max. 4x4 nav, moonroof, leather, power steps, power folding seats, power lift gate, i think the dealer said it had every available option. Anyways it was driven by the owner of the dealership so it has never been titled, they are selling it as new so i get all the rebates and etc. but it has 13000 miles on it. They are at 28000 what do you guys think?

Also what should i look for on this vehicle im not real familiar with them.

Thanks in advance

Is it a Limited or Eddie Bauer? Is it the standard length or an EL?

Just an FYI: Local dealers in the DFW area are dropping $ 12,000+ off MSRP on new ones.

Sounds like a deal. If you bought a new one you'd well north of forty if it's a 4x4. My limited 08 is not an el and it was 38. Fully loaded w/o nav or dvd.

that's a real good deal. If that's a 4x4 you'd pay way north of forty even w/ rebates. My 08 limited non el 4x4 was 38 w/o nav and dvd. Sticker was 48 and rebates were 4K back in march. Mt .02.

I bought my 2008 Expy XLT 2wd, leather and a few other goodies, 18,000 miles out the door after tax and crap for $21,000. I know you are looking at 4wd and such, but I bet you could get them down a little more.

That is a good price, but the line about it being new is BS.

Don't do it. I know 3 guys who went from super duties to Expeditions ( I went from excursion to K2500 suburban to Expedition). They hate how "small" it feels inside. I'd rent one for a weekend to make sure this is what you want. as for 28K sounds like a ok price but remember after a year you can almost pick one of these up for 1/2 price with 15 to 20K miles.
