fifthwheel goose neck combo hitch

hi i was wondering if any one knew of a fifth wheel and goose neck combo hitch that doesnt drop the ball by having a lever in the wheel well or under the truck was really hoping some on would have one to adapt on to a simple flip down goose neck hitch

Rails are your only option if you don't want a lever in the wheel well.

Fifth wheel hitch with underbed rails - removal and install is done in truck bed at hitch, not under truck.

All Signature Series Fifth Wheel Hitches | Drawtite | Reese | Hidden Hitch | Blue Ox | Rola

Gooseneck plate that fits on same underbed rails as above hitch

Reese Signature Series Gooseneck Hitch 30845

I have the fifth wheel hitch above and it is an excellent unit - single jaw wraps around the kingpin - no slop in hitch when towing, as well as 4 way pivot. Don't have the gooseneck plate as I don't have gooseneck trailer at this time, however was looking at "future expansion" so chose this setup.

I personally would go the other route and purchase a B&W companion 5th wheel hitch. But, that system uses the under-bed latch system, which I personally like. Plus it just as the 3" hole in the bed and the chain hooks.

I second this as well. This is my exact setup and am very happy with it.

If your wanting to pull a 5th wheel on your flip down ball they make gooseneck adapters so you can pull a 5th wheel on a ball, generally around $500 new.

I prefer the B&W setup with a companion, but the companion itself retails for about $800, not including the turnover ball itself. The only reason we use it is because we're hooking up to different trailers all the time.

And fyi the B&W is a 4 inch hole

Another vote for the B&W here. I have the setup and it works great.
