And mine here. Name's Knuckles. I do get asked alot on the how I did it. I would have to say at one time I never thought I would lower a truck but this thing corners really well and since I prefer a truck to Rod out over a car, I cant go back.
Tried making a gallery but cant get it to work?????

Ford141.. i was just about to ask you what truck you pulled thoses rims off of. Those
95' rims would look awesome on mine.
This is how real men lower thier trucks round here..lol yall got some good lookin ones even though im not one for the lowerds
Some one was tlkn ealier and said the stock F-100 springs werent worth anything. i beg to differ. it takes 500-700lbs to Level my truck. It took 1500lbs to do that. And No thats not fully bottomed out.. bout an inch or 2 left.lol

My truck still hauls very well even though it is 5" lower, but I still have the stock 3/4 ton spring packs in the back. I rarely haul anything with it, however, since I'm afraid of scratching the original paint in the bed... lol. My '05 F150 does all of the hauling duties, there are some pics of it in my gallery with 3100lbs of limestone in the bed, and at the time the rear end was lowered 2" by removing the rear blocks, and it was still 2" off the bumpstops. I've had as much as 3500lbs in it, and it takes it pretty well. Since the pics were taken I added another leaf to the rear (stock=4 leaves, 5 leaves now) and it hauls pretty much anything I throw at it with ease.

Ford141, I had one of the Chassistech beams crack on my 79 and I sent it back and they replaced it. It took along time though. The beams on my 96 f150 have over 100,000 miles on them and they are still perfect.
mwvdub, Thats 83 squared in a NOS cheater plate which is around 225hp right off the line. Changed the shock mounts in the rear and put Rancho 9000s on it with a 28x10.5 stiff sidewall slick and it finally hooked on spray, lol. It went faster on drag radials though with a slower 60ft.

here is the details on this rig
1977 Ford F 150... Baged with 6 inch beams up front. Pete and Jake out back with Oassic comp. 3/8 smc down 1/2 up. 400m rebuilt punch 40 over with orginal 2 br and C6 tranny. All suide interior with new carpet. 20inch Centerlines with big tires
its not mine, i am not into lowering trucks, only making them taller! thats why i got a 4x4, but i feel this low can hurt the truck ability's, and stock height is alright with me, and on a rwd truck only a slight lowering or added height is ok in my books, but if its 4x4 it stays stock height or higher! and this thing is said to be worth $15 grand i think all our rigs go up in price when people start asking 15 grand! the truck is in really fine shape and is flawless, and nice interior and straight lines, overall a grade A job, the height is the only problem i have LOL
