I would hope so. That negative camber it has in the pics would sure go through those expensive arsed rubber band tires quickly.

I have said before I'm not into lowered trucks, but that one is at least very nicely done. Not my style at all, but he paid decent attention to detail (look at the modified inner fender wells in the front). Heck - he even puts detail in his pics when he photoshops them (pic 1)

I agree with going for a different rim on it as well. I also am not into how far inside the wheel wells the tires sit, but I'm sure they might have to be that way to drop the bags all the way.

man that 77 is gorgeous, exactly what i want to do next year. pickup a cheap 77 2wd, and just flat black it and dump it on the ground, with a nicely built 400 too.

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

It makes my day to have someone compliment the truck.

Dr. Dirt, thats an 8.8 out of a newer explorer, its truck width, the 8.8 out of our old mustang was a bit to narrow.

Pipman, no I did not have to respline my axles or do anything to the rotors. The rear wheels have a 5x5.5 bolt pattern, and are 15x12's. Not sure on the backspacing. I think they have 5 inches, but dont quote me on it. The front wheels have the traditional 5x4.75 bolt patter like a mustang, so I had to buy some wheel spacers that changed the bolt pattern.

Ive already bought a set of Mickey Thompson Classic 2's off my old man, and am waiting to get them put on the truck.

Tankrsc- She runs 7.90's in the 1/8 on the motor with drag radials. On street tires, the best ive got out of her was an 8.24. The closest 1/4 mile track to me is about 3 hours away, we make that trip twice a year. Ill let you know what she does come spring time.

Once again, thank you for the compliments everyone!

The 9inch was played out, and I got the 8.8 for 20 bucks from my uncle. Seemed like a smarter move than spending a couple hundred on hew gears, bearings, seals, etc.

I'd post some pics of my truck, but it's not lowered.
