I just bought a 95 250 4x4 efi460 and was wondering what are some good mods to these motors. Does a cam help much? Its already got chrome headers(not sure what brand)dual exhaust and a hypertech chip. From a dead stop it will barely squeal the tires when I romp it. Granted its HEAVY and the tires are 33" MudKings which are pretty new. But shouldnt it be able to just smoke em all the way off? Or were my expectations to hi for the 460? BTW its got axle code C9 which i understand to mean 3.55 Limited Slip which I assume is in a Sterling 10.25.

I am very new to fuel injection I barely know my way around a carb motor so hopefully this isnt too dumb of a question.

 

limited slip should help keep you from spinning. When you mash the throttle you want to go forward not sit and spin LOL. They are pretty gutless considering their size and thirst for gas.
