69 C-10? I've always been a ford guy but I really like those trucks, there's a guy down the road from me that has a 4WD somewhere around 69, it looks good but it's been up on jack stands for a while.

 

well this is a 2wd long bed ha ha it was my grand dads truck... see if he would sell that 4wd.. on one hand i'd like to chop it to a short bed but on the other hand i would like to put it all back stock like the day my granddad got it! the truck has all the original books and everything with it!

 

Well, my 83 needs cab corners, which is typical for an 80's truck. Gotta put a new sending unit in the gas tank, as my fuel gauge died a while back. Gonna swap out the 1bbl carb for a 4bbl intake and carburetor. Might even put a new head on the thing seeing as I'm having oil control problems after it sits for more than a day or two.

When i assembled this engine in the summer of 06 it was basically a basket-case, i had to put everything back together. I didn't have the time then to go over everything thoroughly, and apparently the valves need new guides & seals.

Thinking about putting in a new oil pump while i've got the engine out. Might even do a new clutch...just depends on funds and time i guess. Looking foreward to putting the books away for the semester, definitely tired of school.

Steve, I'm doing fine, watching a little football. That 69ish Chebby 4 wd I told you about is gone, I go by it everyday, I guess I didn't notice it gone until I was gonna stop and ask about it for you.

 

figures... that style a truck is just ate up around here! folks will buy one just to let it sit in the yard and rust out.. i may start tryin to find me an old ford to work on

Wife is visitin' folks & I'm Bachin' it with nothing to do but yard/house work all weekend. Just spent way too much on some brake parts for her Escape.
