Beer from Navada?
Hi folks,
Tonight my wife and kids and a friend went to a local restauraunt called Ruby Tuesdays. I believe they're a national chain. Anyhow, I like trying different kinds of beer. They had one on tap called Siera Navada, Pale Ale. I never heard of it. I liked it. If you're a lite beer drinker, you probably won't care for it, but I enjoyed it. I was wondering if it is a local brew like a micro brewery, or if they're a bigger company. Locally, we have some micro breweries but they cater only to the locals, as far as I know.

That's good stuff, John - it's actually brewed in Northern California: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale - Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. - BeerAdvocate

Northern California, well I guess the name doesn't necessarily have to have anything to do with where it comes from. It is good stuff. If you like that, see if you can find some Kentucky Ale. It's made in Lexington Ky. If you can find that, they also make one called Kentucky Bourbon Ale. I will do a search for info on that and post it back here.
