I beg to differ. The map sensor on the 6.0s limits the boost, even if you have a huge turbo. I've been running different turbos for the past 2 years now on my '05 in surch of 500 RWHP and was only able to get there this past year after going to the BD Turbo with a boost fooler(its part of the kit). My buds at Jefferson State Diesel built a twin turbo setup for their '05 with larger injectors than I had and couldn't get the full boost out of them because the ECM started pulling it back at overboost. Now with just the boost fooler its boosting 65 plus. I've spent a lot of time and money figuring these motors out, and though I'm not an engineer guy, I've kept my ear to the ground and learned the hard way more than once who's full of it. Seeing is believing and until you see proof that someone can do something and make it last, don't believe them.

Almost there. Had the running part there but was having problems figuring out the fuel system setup. First time I've ever completely bypassed the OE fuel system. I think I figured it out today so I'll try it tomorrow. Thanks for the props.

I'm trying to clean out the shop as we speak to build a 3 seat baby rock buggy for my three little ones using child seats. Got the axles I just can't figure out which power plant I want to use. I'm leaning towards using a Fusion/Ranger 4 Cylinder with auto trans and divorced t-case.

Well I've come to the conclusion that the injectors are crap. That's what I get for not going with Hypermax. I'm going to rob the injectors out of the 05 and either go with a hybrid on the 62 or just use the BD. Not too sure yet cash is tight and I've got other projects I've gotta get done. Oh well here's the vid. 390 at the wheels with a boost fooler, stock turbo and SCT tune.

I am 425 on a stock engine. Who wrote the tune, how much fuel pressure at WOT and why do you think the injectors are toast? Keep working on it....

They aren't toast just crap. That's why they quit making them. I just let someone talk me into saving some money and letting someone other than Hypermax build me a set. Later after I already had them back I found out that they were working without even bench flowing. I knew I was probably screwed then but stayed hopeful. I don't want to bad mouth anyone and since they quit trying the 6.0 stuff there's nobody needs to be warned, just a bad costly decision. As for the pressure I need to have someone watch the gauge while I'm messing with it. I also need to clear some codes but my VCM is getting fixed right now so I'm old schooling things with the Snap on, which just takes for ever compared to the VCM and laptop.

UPDATE 3/31/10

Well trying to get her ready for NHRDA in Ennis, TX next Saturday. Changes are as follows:

Hypermax Injectors out of 500 RWHP '05
Hurculiner Cab
Paint (Body)
Paint (Inner Fenders & Frame Touch up)
Gauges
Innovative FICM Race Tune
Possibly add support to rear truss

After Texas:
Some Custom Tunes for the SCT Live Wire
Possibly a Turbo
Trans when she blows

Last Dyno run was 390 at Left Coast with crap injectors. I can't wait to see how well the Hypermax Injectors do alone. Oh and I found out that I was getting the excess body rolls cause I didn't have the keepers for the bottom coil low enough to transfer all the weight to the bottom 500 Lb coil.
